I kinda hate holiday music, but I like "So This Is Christmas" by John Lennon. Melissa Ethridge did a good version as well. That's not its real name, but I don't remember the real name. The Ramones also did a Christmas tune...uh, no clue what it's called, but the video's funny.

I really enjoy the ENTIRE Ella Fitzgerald "Swingin Christmas" albun. It's toe tapping yet intellectual enough for snooty professionals, probably would be a good thing for early in the party, good luck!

Hmmmmmmm....I like "I want a Hippopatomus for Christmas" song because it annoys my husband and I'm a sucker for most versions of "Oh Holy Night."

Traditional: "The Christmas Song" by Nat King Cole (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire); Contemporary: "Christmas Wrapping" by The Waitresses. Also, the entire soundtrack from "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and of course the dogs barking Jingle Bells. I think the Ramones song is "Merry Christmas" (I Don't Want To Fight Tonight).
